    Very nice set of watch mainspring winders. Comes in a nicely finished wood box with padding in the lid for protection. Perfect that the pusher has two slots, so it winds both left and right. All abors and hooks are made of steel instead of soft brass, so that’s a big +. Initially I thought on of the hooks was damaged, but it turned out to be left over chips from production and I could just remove them. Item was in a secure cardboard box with bubble wrap and all parts in small separate plastic bags. We will see how it holds up when I really start using it, but for now everything looks good 👍 😊. Delivery was pretty fast too.

    This set appears to be well made and hopefully will prove durable. The shafts of the winding posts are steel not brass (which is good). The box is neatly done and fits my small collection of swiss winders. However the knurled handle is made of thinner brass than the antique Swiss version and shows some flexing when stressed. If used carefully this shouldn’t matter, and the handle is slotted for both right and left winding which is useful. Unfortunately the shipping packing could be better and one of the individual winders’ handles arrived bent (see photo). Rather than send everything back I’ve had to attempt to straighten the handle with pliers, but would advise the vendor to add more protection to the package. Shipping to UK was nice and quick (just over 1 week).
