    product as described, very fast delivery. incredible dac, i was previously just using my motherboard’s onboard Realtek ALC897 and the difference between the onboard audio and this is night and day. everything is clearer, the bass is fuller, and it doesn’t distort at loud digital signal volumes

    Tested it using toslink and did a/b comparison against 20 year old slim devices transporter (US$2000). On some recordings it is close but on others the 3d image the transporter is able to project is not there. The image is quite flat. Not so strange when you compare prices. Testing was done on a high-end audio system that is very revealing. On a normal system you could probably hardly hear a difference. It will be installed in my car using the usb input. The usb input (fed by a raspberry pi) works but the volume is quite low and I haven’t figured out yet why. Overall, for it’s intended use, I am quite happy with it.
