    The magnet is very strong and you have to pull quite hard to separate the two parts. It might be easier when attached to the door and floor and even a strong wind will not close the door, but might weaken the attachment to the floor with pulling so hard. I unscrewed the magnet part and put a small piece of a business card inside and the magnet hold perfectly. it is secured with an expansion bolt designed for concrete so I’ll have to make a plan securing to a wooden floor or drywall stud.
