01 Compatibility

B — Xinput mode (Windows/Steam)

A — SWITCH mode

X — PS3 / Dinput mode (Raspberry Pi / Android)

Y — PS4 mode (Compatible with PS4 games on PS5 console）

RT — KEYBOARD mode

 

Input Mode

To change the input mode, hold one of the buttons(as shown above) as the controller is plugged in.

Tips：

This product defaults to Xinput mode，Input mode is saved across power cycles.

If there are games that do not compatible the above input modes , you can enter the Web Configurator to modify them for normal use.

 

Web Configurator

This product contains a built-in web-based configuration application which can be started up by holding START when plugging your controller into a PC. Then access //192.168.7.1 in a web browser to begin configuration.

 

TURBO

Hold TURBO，then press the button which you need to be set for turbo function，then this button will be continuous sending while you press it,to cancel this turbo key，just repeat the privious step.

The turbo key that set will be cleard when power off.

These keys can be set as a Turbo key: A / B / X / Y / LB / RB / LT / RT

    In the past I’ve owned a Haute42 T16, and for the brief time I used it, it was one of the best leverless controllers I ever used. Unfortunately an accident occurred and the USB-C port went out, but over time I came to not really prefer the Acrylic sandwich build much. The U16 is seemingly the controller I’ve always wanted from Haute42/Cosmox! It ditches the sandwich build and opts for a surprisingly durable plastic enclosure with a removable plexi cover to allow for easier art customization. It combines the T16 layout with the rims from the R16 and it’s perfect for my personal preferences. Overall if you’re looking for a good leverless controller with easy customization, sturdier build and the works for a good price, then the U16 is an amazing package and one of the best leverless controllers I’ve ever used!

    Another wonderful product from haute42. I own a few products from them and I love them all. This new entry to my collection is no exception. Packaged nicely in a black cardboard layout, came protected by a foam layer and also included templates for custom art as well as its own art to add to the controller. Includes a USB-C cable and small tool to use on the screws for customization as well as a keycap puller and extra switch. Buttons feel great and it performs flawlessly on the fighting games I enjoy. Highly recommend this, the T-series and the G-series. I haven’t used the M or S series yet but I’m sure they’re amazing as well. Thanks Haute42!

    the built quality and overall feeling is very good. But i was disappointed since its not very comfortable to use. as someone already mentioned, the buttons are too small for that big distance between them. You either needed make them closer to each other or make them bigger like on other models. Making button both small and with big distance is a poor choice design wise.

    This HitBox is truly a stylish piece! Want to add images of your favorite manga or fighting game characters to your HitBox? I highly recommend this product. This HitBox makes it incredibly easy to switch out the artwork. There’s no need to fully disassemble it; simply remove the nine star-shaped screws on the front, and you can instantly replace the art. Five art templates come included by default (including the standard black one). The white art template, in particular, is perfect for customizing, as you can draw on it or add stickers to show off your personality. Create your unique HitBox and share it proudly on social media. Despite its size, this HitBox is very lightweight, weighing only 565g. While it’s light, it’s still durable thanks to its strong PC material. I highly recommend the Haute42 U16, especially for those purchasing a HitBox for the first time.

    took 2 weeks to arrive, which was worth the wait. It’s my first pad controller so I’m transitioning from keyboards(WASD), so the only thing I’m adjusting to is the distance and positioning of the buttons. the switches also sound great! I bought the extra 3m wire in case I wanted to play on my desk standing up, so my pc is just below my desk and the distance from pc to my desk standing up was more than enough for the stock wire(1.5m)(and I’m 5’8). Got to customize the LED screen; can only customize to an image so far, not sure if it’s customizable for GIFs. Hope this review helps 🙂
