How It Works
Unlike hand tools, this device doesn’t require you to do anything but plug it in. Once it is running, it will them automatically catch flies. The device works by attracting flies into it through a powder-like bait that you place inside it. You can also use honey or sugar water as a substitute bait. When the flies get in, the rotating plate at the top will keep them from escaping. One advantage is that it conserves energy and it is also rechargeable. You can charge it through a USB connection for your convenience.
Safe and Easy to Clean
Another good thing about it is that it is easy to clean. Simply remove the compartment where the flies are. Then, dispose of the flies, rinse the compartment and place it back it the device again. It has a switch on its base which is easy to access for when turning the fly trap on and off. Please note that it is normal for the fan to rotate slowly because otherwise, it will scare off the flies. Also, it has a transparent compartment that allows you to see how much flies you’ve collected and if it’s time to clean it.
