3D pen devices have been coming a long way since the dawn of 3D printing. From large and expensive machines to a more manageable size like the 3D pens. The 3D Pen ABS/PLA Printer is a step above the rest for one reason.

ABS OR PLA?

There are two major types of filaments for 3D printing. One is Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene or ABS. The other is Poly Lactic Acid or PLA. ABS plastics have a burning plastic smell when heated in 3D pens and printers. They are, however, stronger and resistant to breakage. It’s recommended to work in a well-ventilated area when using this filament. PLA plastics are organic-based. They also have a shinier appearance and sometimes emit a sweet smell because of their sugar-based trait. Often, they don’t have an odor which is why they are mostly used on items that are related to food-storage, implants, and more. The downside is that they can experience warping. The 3D Pen ABS/PLA Printer has a feature that displays the type of plastic filament is currently in use. Therefore, the temperature will adjust because PLA melts at a lower temperature compared to ABS.

    Инструкция на английском, управлением разобрались методом тыка. У нее 3 скорости подачи материала, при разных температурах. Пока из розетки не высунешь продолжает выдавать материал. Когда снова включаешь, она нагревается нажимаешь назад и тогда пластиковая проволока выходит обратно из ручки. Как то так, ребёнку понравилась!
